Drawings

Drawing people is a technique that I have refined and improved, I have done this by continuously copying out different people out of books in different positions, I did this because the people I began drawing didn't look quiet right and didn't fit the style that appeals to children where there bodies aren't quiet in proportion. I then focused on refining my final pirate character creating a very simple character that children will enjoy looking at and can still recognise it as a pirate. Experimenting  with how the pirate looks from his hat and his overall appearance.

Here are some small sketches of individual scenes I thought could go into the book, focusing on telling the story with out the scenes becoming too over crowded with detail. As well as the start of how the story line will progress from each page, which is a very basic out line as it changed many times over the development period.
